Edwar, I got your comment requesting help identifying the flowers in your garden. I'm afraid I only identify flowers by color - la flor azul, la flor amarillo....
I'm helping at my church's Vacation Bible School this week. I lead a group of 16 7-or8-year olds around to activity stations. I'm constantly counting heads, sometimes silently, sometimes out loud, sometimes in English, sometimes in Spanish. All of them instantly recognized Spanish, and some of them can count to 10 in spanish, more or usually less, and a few know a handful of spanish words. This is the Rising Sun/Colora area, so this was a bit of a pleasant surprise!
